At times when
the economy is slow, what is needed are persistence, hope and passion, to get by this
difficult period of time step by step. Rather than moaning and groaning, we should hope on
to hope and turn it into action. If you think about, maybe it is only at low times like
this, that the extraordinary from the ordinary surfaces. Good use of resources, integral
planning and thorough implementation are the three big steps toward success. We should
proceed with meticulous thinking and a clear head; the most important thing is to monitor
the implementation of plans to make sure that they are being executed correctly. Never
underestimate these steps; they are the key to the final success.Municipal constructions are even more so; even though
there are thousands of strands and loose ends and a thousand and one things to attend to,
especially various constructions that affect the lives of our residents. So we should set
up long-term goals and not be blinded by short-term benefits. It is inevitable that
numerous obstacles will come our way and many opposing voices will be raise, setbacks are
unavoidable;
 however, as long as we persist to the end in our belief "to
suffer as the people suffer, to rejoice as the people rejoice", we will taste the
sweetness of success. Any construction concerning the residents' lives need full cooperation from both the public and the government to get by the transitional period. I am determined to labor for the municipal government under the belief "Dare to do and fight, defy problems and difficulties". I hope that all the residents of Taiping District will join me in persisting to the very end, to work for our common dreams and create a happy Taiping City!¡@ |
